Risk assessment for NiceOS (RHEL-like stability profile):

Functional scope appears to be a routine hardware-ID database refresh.
No explicit ABI/API changes, deprecations, or security/CVE notes were found in the upstream release materials.
Because the upstream notes are sparse and the compare scope includes a python3 tooling fix, this should be reviewed and smoke-tested before landing, even though the expected operational risk is low.

Packaging impact:

Version bump only, plus refresh of Source0/lookup-side artifacts and metadata as needed.
No new runtime dependencies are expected from the upstream evidence.
If compare-pci-ids is shipped or exercised in tests, confirm python3 compatibility.

Recommended checks:

Build in a clean mock/chroot.
Verify the installed hwdata data files are present and updated.
Run a smoke test for any shipped hwdata helper scripts.
Confirm no unexpected spec or dependency changes are introduced.
